The Spanish-American War ended 125 years ago. Joseph Leroy Anthony, Edward Marvin Cady, Charles H. Caswell, Arthur M. Cunningham, William J. Longe, and George Sharpley are men with ties to Essex that served in the Spanish-American War. ECHS is planning a special exhibit at the Harriet Farnsworth Powell Historical Museum highlighting these soldiers and is looking for any information about their lives and/or descendants. The Historical Museum Schedule:
The Museum is now closed for the Winter season, and will be open only by appointment.
The Museum will open for the Summer Season on the first Sunday after Memorial Day, June 4, 2023.
